After being a freelancer and foreigner in Spain for nearly a decade, I am no stranger to visa applications, autorizaciones de regreso, and enduring the long processing times and seemingly never-ending lines at the Extranjería. Now, seven applications and a few renewals later, a widely read post on how to make the switch to become a freelancer, and dozens of emails and messages in between, I’m pleased to offer professional advice and services to my readers.

If you are considering applying for a self-employed/freelance visa (autónomo) from your home country or modifying a student visa to cuenta propia in the next few months to a year, I would be happy to guide you through the process and offer valuable advice and tips. I had very few knowledgeable people to guide me back in 2017 when I set out to do this, so I would love to be the person who can provide the support and straightforward answers you are looking for.

What is the next step?

If you would like to use my services, please know I only work with serious and committed people. You must be committed to finishing a brand-new application or completing one that is in progress and close to being submitted. With that out of the way, here are your next steps:

First, fill out a set of screening questions I have gathered in this Google Form. This will allow me to review your unique situation and get to know you a bit before we meet. In return, you will be able to gather and organize your thoughts, making it mutually beneficial for both of us. (The form is temporarily suspended due to changes in the student visa to work permit modification laws, and I need to edit it.)

You will have the flexibility to schedule these sessions according to my availability, but you can choose to do them at the pace that best fits your situation.

**Rates are calculated based on the average cost of a legal consultation in Madrid, which ranges from 50-60€ for 45 minutes to 1 hour.**

Sessions can be held in person if you are located within or can travel to Zone A (Metro) in Madrid to meet at a public location. If you are located outside of Madrid or prefer virtual meetings, sessions can be done via phone or video call (Skype, Google Meet, etc). We can discuss how you can get the most out of these consulting sessions.
